What cookies are
Cookies are small text records that a website or service can ask a browser to store. They can contain an identifier, preference, timestamp, or other limited value that is returned during later requests. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and identifiers maintained by scripts. A cookie is not a program and cannot by itself read arbitrary files from your device.
Some cookies are required for a requested online service, while others support preferences, measurements, or advertising. Voice Master does not currently provide user accounts, shopping carts, or personalized advertising. The most relevant persistent identifiers on this site are associated with website analytics.
Google Analytics
Voice Master uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate use of pages and features. The analytics script is loaded after a page becomes interactive. Google Analytics may set cookies commonly named _ga and _ga followed by a measurement-property identifier. These identifiers help distinguish browsers and sessions so reports can estimate visits and usage patterns over time.
Analytics information may include viewed pages, approximate session timing, referrer information, browser and device category, and general geographic information derived from network data. We use these reports to identify useful content, improve navigation, diagnose broad problems, and understand device compatibility. Text and audio placed inside the Voice Master tools are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics.
Local tool data is different
The voice tools use browser memory and web platform features to decode, record, edit, synthesize, play, and export audio. Temporary working buffers, editing history, generated audio, and object URLs can exist during the page session. These are functional parts of local processing and are different from an analytics cookie used to recognize a browser across page visits.
Reloading or closing a page usually removes the current in-memory tool state. A downloaded WAV file remains wherever your browser saves it. Browser extensions, automatic backups, operating-system features, and shared-device settings may preserve other traces outside the website’s control.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through privacy or site settings. You can often block all cookies, block third-party cookies, clear data for one site, or remove stored information when the browser closes. Privacy-focused extensions and browser tracking protections may also restrict Google Analytics. The exact controls and labels depend on the browser and can change between versions.
Blocking analytics cookies should not prevent the core local audio tools from performing their main processing tasks, although aggressive script blocking can affect site features generally. Deleting cookies may cause analytics to treat a later visit as a new browser or session. Your browser help documentation provides the most current instructions for your device.
Third-party pages
Articles may link to independent services, including official platform-policy pages. When you follow an external link, the destination may place its own essential, analytics, preference, or advertising cookies. Voice Master does not control those technologies. Review the destination’s cookie and privacy information before making choices on that service.
Google’s handling of analytics information is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy materials. Browser vendors and extensions also make independent decisions about storage, tracking protection, synchronization, and deletion. Their behavior is outside the direct control of Voice Master.
Changes and questions
We may update this page if analytics, browser storage, site features, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the current published version. A future feature that introduces a materially different category of cookie should be reflected here and, where required, accompanied by an appropriate choice mechanism.
